Prayer Meeting

Here at Holy Trinity Lyonsdown we believe passionately in the importance of prayer. The Bible teaches we should "...not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer ... let your requests be made known to God." (Philippians 4:6, ESV). Charles Spurgeon, a Christian leader from the past, described the prayer meeting as "...the powerhouse of the church."

We have a weekly prayer meeting to pray for the work in our local area and beyond. We meet in the homes of some of our members. Our weekly notice sheet, the Lyonsdown Link, available each Sunday, provides the address for each meeting.
